This is another initiation taken by Sri Lanka Army to expedite the process of releasing lands in accordance with the policy on Resettlement of IDPs, as a matter of priority towards reconciliation whilst addressing the issues of civilians in Jaffna. The ceremony was organized by troops of 515 Brigade and further, the Ottapulam – Vasavilan road was declared open for the public at the event. Religious dignitaries, senior military Officers, Government officials, soldiers and civilians were present at the event.
