SB’s wife obtains fuel money from state

The wife of minister S.B. Dissanayake has obtained Rs. 215,770 from the state as fuel expenses as his private secretary, parliament has been told.

JVP’s Sunil Handunnetti has sought an investigation into this.

Thamara Dissanayake received the money from Haritha Uyana project of the Samurdhi movement.

She has signed the relevant bill on behalf of the approving officer.
