Immigration and Emigration Association had warned yesterday (17) that it will launch a work to rule campaign from midnight because the authorities have failed to provide solutions to several demands including the formation of a new constitution. Issuing a press release, Sri Lankan Airlines advised all passengers to arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to time of departure from yesterday (17) until further notice in order to minimize delays.
Prior to this work to rule campaign, the Association launched a silent protest in front of the Bandaranaike International Airport.
