Illicit doctor romance at Nawalapitiya hospital ends up in courts!

A case where a doctor husband of Nawalapitiya hospital had lost total control of himself when his doctor wife of the same hospital was found travelling on the sly in the company of a bachelor doctor of a tender age serving the same hospital and the doctor husband has pursued the illicit couple and had threatened them saying he would knock

his vehicle against their vehicle was heard in courts recently.

All three doctors who were subjected to this hullabaloo had been serving at this hospital office quite cordially. The doctor husband of 47 years had been attached to the hospital for a long period of time while his 44 year old wife who is a mother of three children has come to this hospital having received an appointment there recently had developed an illicit association with a young unmarried doctor there and once this attachment came to be known to the husband doctor he had kept an eye on the couple. As such having realised what fell in his ears were true, the couple were caught red handed last week during working hours. The husband who saw the illicit lover travelling in a motor vehicle in his company had set his car too in motion and had pursued them and even knocked the vehicle threatening the illicit lover doctor.

The young doctor who did not wish to bring this conflict to a close at that point had gone to the extent of making a police complaint against the other doctor saying that he was threatened with death which then happened to make the story even public.

The 47 year old doctor who was produced before court was released on a cash bail of ten thousand and two other bails of two lakhs each by Nawalapitiya magistrate Mr. Shrinith Wijeysekera. Nawalapitiya police had reported that clashes among all three of them had occured from time to time about this illicit affair. It was also revealed that the doctor wife was a mother of two adolescent daughters and a thirteen year old son and she had forgotten her role as a mother and having got enamoured by this doctor of a tender age and had developed this close relationship.
