Dullas Hits Out At SLFP Minister: Says Funeral Of Unity Government Handled By Mustapha Parlour

National Organiser of the joint Opposition Dullas Alahapperuma has slammed the government for delaying the Local Government election, saying it will send the coalition government to an early grave.

The criticism for delaying the election, however, is aimed at the SLFP group supporting President Maithripala Sirisena. The statement comes against a backdrop where delegations representing bthe sLFP and the Joint Opposition holding 'peace talks' to contest the elections together. In a strongly worded statement, Alahapperuma said the Joint Opposition would also lay a wreath to pay last respect to the "dying government."

Hitting out at Local Government and Provincial Councils Minister Faizer Mustapha, Alahapperuma said the funeral of the unity government was handled by the "Mustapha" funeral parlour.
