Former Additional Secretary of the Presidential Secretariat released on bail

He was released with two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each and a cash bail of Rs. 50,000. 

D.S. Gunaratna and L.D. Gunaratna  were arrested by the Police Special Investigation Unit on January 25  in connection with misappropriating state funds amounting to Rs. 17.9 million in 2010 

Former accountant L.D. Gunaratna attached to the same case was further remanded till tomorrow.
