According to Srikotha sources some who have positions because of people like Ravi, is making a big noise to prevent him from becoming a minister.
Minister Ameratunga had urged the UNP leader to maintain discipline in the party. He had said I have been with President Jayawardana and President Premadasa they would have never tolerated this indiscipline.
He had further said some forget how far we have come and the challenges we have faced as a political party. Some want the senior parliamentarians to be pushed out of the cabinet. They forget we have been elected by the people for four decades.
