Namal, Gammanpila, say who are responsible for these murders

He was referring to the killing of Dehiwala-Mt. Lavinia councilor Ranjan de Silva.

Also, JO MP Namal Rajapaksa has said that instead of curbing the underworld, the government was providing protection for the weddings of underworld leaders. He blamed the police for de Silva’s killing.

Both their statement should be accepted, because it the responsibility of the government and the police to ensure the people the freedom and the right to live.

Also, we urge Namal Rajapaksa and Udaya Gammanpila to reveal those responsible for the following killings:

Will Gammanpila hold the then government responsible for the killings of Nadaraja Raviraj, T. Maheswaran, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, D.M. Dassanayake, Janaka Perera and other politicians?

Will Namal say the government at the time and the police were responsible for the murders of southern provincial councilor M.K. Ranjith alias Chandi Malli in a Colombo high security zone?

The then government should be responsible for the killings of Lasantha Wickrematunge, Pradeep Ekneligoda and the abductions of journalists

Will the two admit the responsibility of the then government for the abduction and assault of Keith Noyarh, Upali Tennakoon, Poddala Jayantha and other journalists?

Can they admit publicly the then government was responsible for the killing of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen?

Will the then government, top police officials be held responsible for the Welikada prison inmates killings?

Can they say the then rulers were behind the killings of civilians at Rathupaswala, Katunayake and Chilaw protests?

Will the then government and the police be held responsible for the underworld killings, including that of high court judge Sarath Ambepitiya?
