The Minister is preparing to convert local bodies into commercial companies!

The minister made this observation at a media conference held at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, Colombo yesterday (17) to inform the media about the 500 new rural bridges.
Mr.Faizer Mustapha, said that he could earn money through assets like local lands.

Most of the local government bodies in the country are mostly dependent on the central government, he added. The Minister emphasized that the culture should be changed.
