Sri Lanka has sought Interpol assistance for Mahendran’s arrest after he did not respond two court orders to give statements to the CID director in connection with CB bond auction.
The blue warrant has been issued to identify his present location.
As per the second court notice, he should be present at the CID on March 08. If he fails to turn up, Sri Lanka can ask for a ‘red’ warrant for his arrest.
